We do live on an island, after all, so boats are a way of life here.  And what a variety we have!

You may arrive and depart on a ferry.

Views of commercial traffic abound on the nearby Corpus Christi Ship Channel..

Port Aransas Museum's Farley Boat Works

The Farley tarpon fishing boats originated in Port Aransas in 1915.  These historic boats are again being built here.

The Garden Club sells concrete "Farley Boat" planters as a city beautification project.

Some boaters like to chase the "big ones" offshore,

Hot colors for cold weather

        Another cold front – brrrr – but it won’t last long!  Time for a bonfire at the beach. How long since you've had smores?

These guys don't seem to mind the weather.
